Bauhaus Of The Seas

Bauhaus of the Seas was created in 2020 in response to the European Commission's New European Bauhaus concept which addresses the climate catastrophe as a multifaceted issue caused by the human-nature split.

It emphasises a broad, collaborative approach across disciplines, generations, and species to successfully handle this massive challenge.

Bauhaus of the Seas evolved towards a mobilisation around the most definitive global natural space and the most critical shared space in the EU and the world: the seas, oceans and other water bodies.

“Our ambitious aim is to influence legal frameworks, starting with the "regenerative menu" concept. By 2025, we hope to host events where children consume these sustainable food sources, and by the same year or 2026, we aim to have laws in place requiring school menus to include a certain percentage of such environmentally beneficial items.”
