ARIANE SCHRÖDER

SCREENWRITER ARIANE SCHRÖDER was born in 1985 in the German-speaking community of Belgium, a very small German-speaking minority. At the age of 18, she moved to Aachen where she completed a bachelor’s degree in communications and political science. After this detour into the humanities – which lasted way too long – she moved to Munich in 2007 where she studied screenwriting and dramaturgy at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF). During her studies, she shot various award-winning documentary films and worked on numerous concepts for series, films and TV films. Ariane Schröder lives and works in Munich.
