The second edition of Web Summit Qatar is officially underway, bringing together a powerhouse lineup of global tech leaders, investors, and policymakers. With over 25,000 attendees from 120+ countries, this year's summit has shattered expectations, transforming Doha into a global hub of innovation.

Patty Cosgrave, the founder and CEO of Web Summit, opened the event by celebrating Qatar’s role as a gateway to the Middle East and beyond, highlighting the nation's rapid growth in startups, investment, and diplomacy. The summit is now at full capacity after just two years, with major tech players like Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, IBM, TikTok, and Snap in attendance.

The event features 1,520 startups from 90 countries, making it the largest international startup gathering ever held in the Middle East. Qatar’s own startup scene is thriving, with 228 Qatari-founded startups exhibiting and a growing ecosystem attracting billions in investment. Since last year’s summit, 148 participating companies have collectively raised nearly $30 billion, proving the event's real-world impact.
